Design and the world explored through 3 manifestos and author's text, bound with recycled paper and smyth sewing method for full spread viewing

Project Summary:

This project explores the three manifestos of 1964, 2000 and 2020 through the lens of design, with an additional text that delves into designers' role in shaping the world. The book is divided into two sections, with the manifestos presented in black and the author's text in green, a color chosen to reference the theme of recycling. To enhance the tactile experience and align with the theme, recycled paper was used throughout the book. The binding technique used is the smyth sewing method, with water-based adhesive to allow for full spread viewing experience. The project offers a unique and thought-provoking look at the intersection of design and societal change.
